Our 18th-century French garden was designed during the era of Le Nôtre, creator of the Palace of Versailles gardens.
The 1750 plan, preserved at Pizay, shows that the design has remained unchanged thanks to constant maintenance. Eight paths converge in a star shape towards a flower-filled pond, delimiting a number of flowerbeds whose borders are highlighted by boxwood benches. Majestic yew trees, pruned into flat tops, stand tall opposite the keep. More than 4,000 potted flowers are selected and planted in the spring to complete the magic of the place.
